The 11.5’ Dorchester Clapp Pear Monument in Bronze at Asia Fine Arts Foundry, Thailand
Laura Baring-Gould (in white) finishes the surface texture in the monument, now cast in bronze. The final phase of casting the bronze artwork, welding pieces together and refinishing the surface texture required 2 months of work. Throughout this time, staff at Asia Fine Arts were producing other artworks, including many large Buddhas.
