Volunteers with Boston Handyworks fill bricked areas with sand
Trainees with Boston Handyworks, a Pine Street Inn Social Enterprise, help fill and stabilize brickwork in Edward Everett Square. These men, many who pass the square daily, were great volunteers. An afternoon of work resulted in 35 hours of donated labor in exchange for lunch and pies baked by project artist Laura Baring-Gould. Many Thanks to the trainees and Program Manager Nicholas Pieri!
